Emma is sleeping over Mima and Poppy's house tonight. It's her second night there. I got a phone call while Mima and Emma were at the grocery store to buy pull-ups. This is what transpired:
Mima is asking me what size pull-ups Emma wears. She says she is going to buy the store brand because it is cheaper.
I can hear Emma in the background telling Mima that she wants the Dora ones. Mima doesn't really answer and sure enough, Emma climbs out of the car (attached to the front of the cart), grabs herself a package of Dora pull-ups, and throws them in the cart. My girl is percocious!
Later I get another phone call, this time from Poppy. He says he's outside cooking on the grill and Emma is out there playing with him. He wanted to tell me what she had said to him. She said "Poppy come over here and sit down and take a break"! I don't even know where she has heard that phrase, but the girl sure does know what is good for a person!
Just a few Emma-isms for today....more later :)
