Ben strikes again!

Again, sorry for the long delay in updates. I'll get better at this I promise :)

So Emma was down for a nap today and Ben was downstairs with me. He was having a snack in his high chair, so I decided to enjoy a snack as well. I was sitting on the couch in full view of Ben, eating some chips and dip when the phone rang. It was an important phone call from a doctor and Ben was making some noise, so I took him out of his chair and put him over the gate into the living room while I talked in the kitchen.

The phone call went on and, then I heard Emma crying upstairs. So I turned into the living room to go up and get her when I caught sight of Ben. There was white stuff on my dark green couch and when I looked closer Ben had the dip container on the floor and was sporting a dripping dip beard and holding a handful of dip! He was thoroughly enjoying himself and had the biggest smile on his face. I really wish I had thought to snap a picture, but I was distracted by the phone call.

While still on the phone, I scooped Ben up and brought him to his chair. As I climbed the gate into the kitchen, he dropped his handful of dip with a plop on the carpet. I sat him down and he was quite content to lick the dip off of his hands for a while.

Ben is quite precocious and loves to get into things that don't belong to him like the remotes, phones, Emma's milk cups and appearantly dip!

And you thought only Emma would provide me with humorous material for my blog :)
